West Norwood Slow Food Festival

Today I went to the West Norwood Slow Food Festival.  After such a sunny lovely week the weather has gone cold again. Not to worry though.

Hi,

So I got to spend yesterday with my lovely Joe.  We did a bit of a cafe tour starting with Ozone for breakfast, then heading to Federation whilst in Brixton for the Crafty Foxes market. We finished up with Tapped & Packed after doing a bit of shopping on Oxford St.

My future of hunting out independent coffee shops the world over is coming very clear to me.

Tonight i'm going out on a school night to The Book Club which should be fun.

The weather is sweet here...

Some people have said to me how creepy and gross and cold the last picture looks. That was just a crazy foggy 6am morning. That day turned really lovely and was 17degrees. The weather is actually really beautiful here at the moment. Joe tells me that the sun will never have heat to it but thats ok... i'm not really a fan of heat.  This is a blurry picture I took on my iphone on my way home from work yesterday.

Million Women Rise

Yesterday on the 3rd of March, I took place in the 'Million Women Rise' march in London. I went along with a few girls from The Shoreditch Sisters and it was my first time doing anything like this. It was so much fun though. I had the best time. The march was mainly to fight against male violence towards women, but the Shoreditch Sisters were also raising awareness about female genital mutilation. How amazing is the vulva sign! If you're interested in making a vulva patchwork let me know and I can get you more information. As you can see some are more literal then others. Have had such a great social weekend though. Things are on the up!
