A Sequence of Events...

So this weekend i planted a lovely new garden. I had some basil, flat leafed parsley, celery, rosemary and thyme. I even planted seeds to grow mint and capsicum.

Uh oh....
In the above photo, possum to the left is Robert and possum to the right is Betsy. On Betsy's back, if you look closely you might see Joey. Her baby. Robert bullys Betsy, but she can hold her own. Roberts a bit stupid because he'd run at Betsy, she'd swipe at him, he'd run away, then in less then a minute he'd come back for more. Maybe he loves her. I hate them both though...

Stupid Betsy in my garden. I couldn't believe it when she was just waltzing through my herbs. Its not a big garden and shes a biiiig possum.

Joe was doing some handyman work this weekend hence all the wood. Here Betsy is eating some basil that had dried out so i threw it into the garden. She sat there for aaaages until Robert came down and decided he wanted celery and basil. I think he was a bit late though. Betsy was eating for two!
And this is the destruction that we awoke to. It was basil there in the middle... now its only 3 stalks. Then it was parsley. You can see they didn't care for thyme or rosemary. Celery didn't stand a chance.

Naughty Possums.

oh my god how frustrating...why did you take photos in stead of chasing them away with a stick?

Hehehe! I'm very sorry for your poor little garden but that's hilarious!

Yes, I'm so far not totally sold on the hippy hair washing but i'll keep trialing it. Also, I don't think I'll make the exhibition afterall, which is sad. I've been wanting to do a dance class on that night for AGES but keep missing out because it's such a popular night! I'm still very torn, so we shall see. I'll definitely be up for the next exhibition. Can't wait to meet Joe, yes bring him along to knitting!

Oh dear I have written an essay!
